Projects

  • Riverhall created an on-line shopping basket system for this client with multiple "virtual shops".

    This client supplies uniforms etc for a number of companies and organizations (clubs, etc) and wanted to create a unique on-line shop for each of their clients.

    Riverhall built a system which allows the client to create and manage as many on-line shops as they wish. Each shop has a distinct name, branding, and stock.  Customers can order on-line and pay by credit card, PayPal, or cheque.

    The client can manage the on-line shops, change the appearance of any shop, add and remove stock items and so on, through a user-friendly interface which protects the client from the technical details.

    The whole service is hosted and run by Riverhall on the client's behalf so all they have to do is to click and go.

  • For Hobsons plc , part of the Daily Mail group, Riverhall developed a system to allow on-line analysis of their database of over 2,000,000 graduates looking for employment or education opportunities. Riverhall then built an e-zine (email magazine) facility which enables totally dynamic content: every recipient gets a different selection of articles depending on their registered interests.
  • For Palamon Capital Partners , Riverhall developed a 'deals database', to allow for the tracking of investment deals all the way from opportunities for investigation all the way to fully invested deals.
  • For the Association of British Health Industries , Riverhall have developed a sophisticated membership system. The system goes beyond most membership systems in allowing for multiple relationships with an individual. For example an individual might be an MP, a managing director of a company, and a member of a scientific committee. The benefits for ABHI are that they can accurately forecast which of their members or prospective members will be interested in any given topic, and ensure precisely targeted communications and follow-ups.
  • For the CGI group , a major printer of investment research, Riverhall have developed a customized workflow system, allowing every job to be tracked at every stage through the production process, from pre-press to distribution and invoicing. The front-end is entirely web-browser based, allowing CGI managers to access the information from anywhere in the world.
  • For a major German bank , Riverhall developed a client management systems to allow the bank to control the distribution of their investment and economic research. This system is based on a powerful database and controls the distribution research by multiple media, including printed copy and Internet distribution.
  • For a major distributor of investment research , Riverhall developed a system to allow mailing lists from a wide variety of sources and different formats to be automatically received and processed. The system contains a very detailed cost distribution model allowing the precise cost of servicing every client to be tracked.
  • For a major Hong Kong based bank ,Riverhall developed a system to calculate statistics from a database of prices and NAVs. The system calculates Price returns, NAV returns, benchmark relative returns, beta coefficients and other statistics over multiple time periods.
