CGI provides printing and distribution services for financial research reports. CGI guarantees the deliver of time critical research to major financial centres across the world. It is therefore of critical importance to us to manage the total process of each job starting from receipt of the information from our client through to final delivery.

We have worked with Riverhall since 1999 to develop "JobTracker". This software, which was developed by Riverhall to CGI's specific needs, not only allows us to track the progress of every job through our workflow but also contains a highly flexible querying and reporting tool which allows us to plan and monitor the overall production workload, and flexibly allocate jobs to production centres.

JobTracker runs on our corporate intranet using a web browser front end. It is based on a structured SQL database.

JobTracker has met its objectives fully, enabling us to reduce costs and manage production more accurately.

Riverhall's software has proved highly reliable. The system has never had any major problems, and any minor issues were fixed rapidly by Riverhall.
